gear box

does any body know what gear box 2 run with a 1660 xflow for my anglia but i dont want to move the gear stick can you help . i have got a cartina 4 speed box that iv brought

Idealy a 2000e is a great box and goes straight in an Anglia except ........the gearlever is further back , your other option is a Cortina GT box with the remote Wooler gear shfter....

2000e gear set in a 1200 Anglia gearbox case is the best was to do it. You keep the original gear stick position, get the 2000e ratios and it fits straight in. The 2000e gearbox will fit in but is just slightly to big and you need to widen the tunnel slightly with a hammer or it knocks and drives you mad. You also need a modified gearbox crossmember. You can then use a woller remote to move the gearstick back to a more convertable location.
