MK3 Capri or Mk5 Cortina Wanted

I have just moved on from a Mini (can I say that on here) and I am looking for a MK3 Capri either S or Laser or a Mk5 Cortina.

 

Have about £2k to spend and would like a clean car with a MOT.

 

I am in London area (Twickeham) and will travel to look the right car.

hi mike,not sure if  you found your car yet, i have a vgc mk5 estate going up for sale very soon, zeebarted from new , new batt, new rear shoes and cylinders, 4 brand new matching tyres and vg spare. brand new shocks all round and new rear springs. electronic ignition starts every time, full service, new cam belt and tensioner,  11 months mot, 6 months tax. fully original body so no hidden respray rust. im the third owner. 2.0L crusader. very nice car, but i am looking for 2.5k. as all new stuff has been done in the last month, new shocks n springs going on this weekend. .. but  if you have a project already, this will be of no use lol.
