work on the capri is nearing completion, well enough to get it down to the mot centre at least. Went and got some insurance today but I need a few questions answered so I am well prep'd for the big bad mot tester;

1) if I book the car in prior to the travelling to the mot centre can I drive it to the mot garage ?

2) can't get hold of a panel plug for the wheel arch - think its a manufacturer hole for zeibarting/waxoiling - is this legal or are they going to claim its a rust hole?

3) Brakes have been rebuilt but are tight and in the case of the front discs a little bit rusty (only surface rust - do they make any allowance for this?

4) does a 1983 car need to pass emmissions ?

thanks in advance

Chris

cheers that's what I thought. Insurance co. seemed to think it had to be trailered but didn't think the rules had changed.

Managed to find the hole plugs in a box safely stored away - so safe even I couldn't find them
