Ive been looking for a set of front chassis rails for my mk1 escort for ages,

 

thought id struck gold when a guy on TS was re-manufacturing them at around £300 a pair posted, instantly put my name down for a set and eagerly awaited further updates, now this fella has dropped off the edge of the earth

 

.... so i found another guy on ebay who was selling a pair re-manufactured for £100 collected, Wow!! i thought, instantly gave him my number and said ill take a set, he said a set had been put by and i later discovered all 3 sets had been sold on a buy it now auction, Gutted i text and asked what had happened, was told that i had a set but he was away with work etc...

a week later i was told, a week later.... i was told itll be another week, text this week and had no reply

now hes coming up as 'no longer a registered user'

 

 

Is there an assassin from one of the big suppliers i.e magnum car panels killing off these guys?

whats going on? all i want is a pair of front chassis rails at a reasonable price
