Does any one know where I can get a pair of new rear leaf springs for my mk1 escort need to be 50mm wide not 60mm mk2 springs

Yes they only do 60mm wide ones and rallying leaf slipper ones

i was going to order 60mm single leafs and have them shaved down 5mm each side where the bush goes. i hear that you can get them to fit using mk2 hangers and a large hammer to get in at the front

i brought mine from a rally parts supplyer in classic ford mag i think they were from rally and competion equipment give them a ring the squires brothers rally an own a ex ford mk1 so should know what your after

try capri specialists. My single leafs on my mk1 are from a 2.8i capri.
