I've got a rusty spots on my mk1escort roof anyone recommend a good treatment that thay have used

depends on how deep they are and how many. If they are bad you will have to remove the linning but try to avoid it if you can. if its only surface then a good rub down to bare metal, you could try the rust converters but i aint got a lot of faith in them

I have used jenolite in the past and gound that it works well. years ago it stopped external rust on an 80's Datsun and that's saying something. more recently i have used it on some minor rust spots on my Mk1 fezza.

id rub it back to bare metal then use kurust,a couple of coats of 2k filler primer, wet flat then paint.
