oxb1l Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 this was the second time I'd used 2nd hand tyres on my sport ,first time being as new Yokohamas that wouldn't grip turned out to be very old this time I used 2 165 's on the rear for a bit higher gearing for RR in August ,fitted my own wheels for the show but the above pic is the result of motorway driving with old tyres ,car was all over the place with these on I thought it was just me being used to 60's look after your pride and joys the only contact with the road is about the size of an A4 sheet Bill (tight Scottish dude)
mk1estate Posted October 16, 2013 Report Posted October 16, 2013 not sure if im right in saying but are they not date marked, it maybe in a coded form though. Did you buy them from a used tyre dealer or just from a mate
oxb1l Posted October 16, 2013 Author Report Posted October 16, 2013 yes your spot on coded dates ,Yokohamas from a forum and the others from a scrappy lesson learned
