1982 118k 1100cc Pop Plus.

Tax'd till the end of the month Mot'd till april 2014 and V5 present in my name.

I Recently fitted new webber 32ich carb and fannymould, replaced fuel pump, fuel pipes, accuspark points HT leads plugs and dizzy cap and new front pads, new handbrake cables, replaced exhaust, new flat blade wiper blades and refurbed wiper arms front and rear.

Has XR2 front seats and RS 7 spokes.new tailor fit carpet mats, replaced speaker holed door cards and polished alloy window winders, new set of pedal rubbers, two new front tyres, refurbed boot card and sourced a parcel shelf.

Recent new number plates and new front tyres.

Bubbling on the rear arches and a rotten O/S/F wing and rust spots on the bonnet I'm guessing from a small carburettor fire at some time in its life. Surprisingly solid floor pan. I bought this at the end of last year to use through the winter with the intention of breaking it when the MOT ran out in April. But stuck it in for a test to see how bad they would fail it and only needed handbrake adjustment (new cables, old ones were stretched) and a rear number plate light not working. So have carried on using it daily for work and has not once let me down. Rear wiper and heated rear screen does not work, I have never looked into this but guessing its wiring on the boot hinge?

I had a proper brutal smack about this summer to see the true underneath condition and exposed these bits. I needed to know exactly what the underneath was like should I keep using it.

I also have the center console and alloy center caps to go back on.

A few weeks ago I had the rear bumper bent in (see today's pic).

Then out yesterday morning when the oil light gave a flicker two days after an oil top up. Opened the bonnet to see oil sprayed everywhere from one of the pulleys. (See pic)

I don't want to even begin to investigate the oil leak. I have no driveway or garage and its cold out there! There is no mayo in the oil or water.

Location is Wellingborough (close to Santa Pod).

Can be driven away with oil top ups but would not recommend driving any distance with it.

A brutally honest description from me.

I'm about to hit 40 so need to pretend to grow up and get myself something sensible(boring) to use.

Some history with it.

£600

Nick.
