  1. 1987 Fiesta XR2 MOT till November. Mileage just over 100k Standard XR2 with - Front Recaro seats (included a used matching rear seat cover to re trim and fit). 2.0 Silvertop with Ho Efi and Ford ECU. Shane.ZT silicone hoses. zetec conversion Ashley exhaust manifold. Unknown exhaust system (possibly Magnex). Gas shocks. -60mm lowering springs. Red stuff pads with drilled/grooved brake discs. Rear strut brace. Vibra-technics gearbox mounts. Pollybushed front tie bars. In 2015 has had the following replaced with new parts. Plugs. Leads. Coil pack. Genuine Ford Cambelt/tensioner and water pump/ temp sender. Fiat 127 fan switch. New manifold with new studs and nuts. New genuine ford RS turbo top mount. New gearbox mounts. Silicone Coolant hoses. Air intake pipes and cone filter. Discs/pads. New fuel pump. New starter motor. Regular oil and filter changes. Under bonnet rewired by professional auto electrician. Every switch bulb and electrical and mechanical component works as it should. Original stereo. The paint is mostly original and is nearly 30 years old so will need repainting to bring it back to its glory. There are a few scabs mostly around the sunroof as shown in the pics and a dent on the front edge of the bonnet. This is an honest car with an honest description with no hidden filler or fresh paint. Not for the inexperienced driver. Usable reliable daily, ready to drive away. Any inspection welcome. No test drives. £2995 no offers. 07411 912301 Location - Kettering - Northamptonshire http://youtu.be/uHqgARuKI-Y

  5. 1982 118k 1100cc Pop Plus. Tax'd till the end of the month Mot'd till april 2014 and V5 present in my name. I Recently fitted new webber 32ich carb and fannymould, replaced fuel pump, fuel pipes, accuspark points HT leads plugs and dizzy cap and new front pads, new handbrake cables, replaced exhaust, new flat blade wiper blades and refurbed wiper arms front and rear. Has XR2 front seats and RS 7 spokes.new tailor fit carpet mats, replaced speaker holed door cards and polished alloy window winders, new set of pedal rubbers, two new front tyres, refurbed boot card and sourced a parcel shelf. Recent new number plates and new front tyres. Bubbling on the rear arches and a rotten O/S/F wing and rust spots on the bonnet I'm guessing from a small carburettor fire at some time in its life. Surprisingly solid floor pan. I bought this at the end of last year to use through the winter with the intention of breaking it when the MOT ran out in April. But stuck it in for a test to see how bad they would fail it and only needed handbrake adjustment (new cables, old ones were stretched) and a rear number plate light not working. So have carried on using it daily for work and has not once let me down. Rear wiper and heated rear screen does not work, I have never looked into this but guessing its wiring on the boot hinge? Worst areas . *No longer has bonnet sticker* Underneath pics. I had a proper brutal smack about this summer to see the true underneath condition and exposed these bits. I needed to know exactly what the underneath was like should I keep using it. N/S/F inner wing to floor pan N/S/R boot floor O/S/R boot floor I also have the center console and alloy center caps to go back on. A few weeks ago I had the rear bumper bent in (see today's pic). Then out yesterday morning when the oil light gave a flicker two days after an oil top up. Opened the bonnet to see oil sprayed everywhere from one of the pulleys. (See pic) As it looks today. I don't want to even begin to investigate the oil leak. I have no driveway or garage and its cold out there! There is no mayo in the oil or water. Location is Wellingborough (close to Santa Pod). Can be driven away with oil top ups but would not recommend driving any distance with it. A brutally honest description from me. I'm about to hit 40 so need to pretend to grow up and get myself something sensible(boring) to use. Some history with it. £600 Nick.

  10. A very happy couple in this.
  11. Mine. I don't see any anti Fiesta comments on here but don't see many Fista related posts. Suppose I could contribute more but I'm not that knowledgable.
  12. Success.
  13. One (possibly negative) suggestion I have is to lower the age of what is classed as an Old skool Ford? I know I don't post much but I do come on here several times a day to check any new posts. There is not many subjects that hasn't been covered on the forums and less and less cars that are considered Oldskoolford appearing as they become increasingly rare and out of reach for most enthusiasts pockets. I think maybe allowing Mk3 escorts,mk2 Fiestas, early Sierras and all Granadas or something along those lines could attract hundreds maybe thousands of new members? 4-5 years ago I would not have given a second look at a Mk3 escort or Mk2 Fiesta and would consider them just a cheap old car but now have much love for them and there rarity and prices are on the up. Example here of Eastash's mint Mk 2 beauty viewtopic.php?f=40&t=139319 A guy who joined up a few months back with his Mk3 then got the hump and removed all his pics and left cause he was told it was not considered Oldskool enough. As time goes on the cars on here now will not be considered as classics but vintage. Probably not what most members want to hear but eventually a new Focus/Ka/Mondeo/CMax will be considered a classic. Remember, this is only a suggestion so please don't ban me and beat me up at ClassicFord/FordFair. I think the forums and members are great, you don't get the bitchiness and elitism that you do on so many other forums. Just a suggestion. Peace.

  19. The wheels are perfect for this car/colour IMO. I met the new owner at FITP, a bloody nice bloke. Also just spotted this one owner from new in east London. Faded paint but no rot from what I could see. Apparently an old boy who rarely drives it but will not sell.

    new law WTF

The new thing to do, I've seen lorry drivers doing is, don't flash your lights but stick your arm out the window giving the thumbs down. I don't think there is a law against that .......yet.
