Popped into JD Classics in Maldon today after work thinking I was going to get slung out as its very posh with serious exotic cars on display and I was looking like a typical builder but instead a very kind man gave me a guided tour of the showrooms, restoration workshop, race prep workshop and 'museum'.

There are some amazing vehicles there but unfortunately I only took a few pics.

Of 150 odd cars there, 70 odd were for sale and the rest were either customer projects, their own projects or just folk who have bought cars for investment and store them there....................Anyway, a few pics I did manage to take

Couple of bikes.....Barry Sheene, Steve Parrish

These are just a few of the motors they have there. Others included a Broadspeed Mk1 Cologne Capri, countless Jags (E Types, old XK's, XJ220's and another one I cant remember what it was I just know he said it was 7 million large!!)

The star of the show for me though was this;

Lamborghini Miura SV, RHD, 31800 miles. Awesome just to be in its presence!! It was so beautiful I forgot to take pics but these are taken from their website

If youre anywhere near Maldon its well worth a look. They also do open days with guest speakers etc, see JD Classics website for future dates (I dont think theres one on there yet but keep looking if you fancy it). This place made my day Lol!!

I go there a couple/few of times a year to the Breakfast open days, the last guest speakers were John Surtees and James Toseland, before that Win Percy, really is the most cracking day out. Up the road is Terry Hoyle the Ferrari specialist, another place well worth a gander
