house wiring qustion

just had the house wired no the cambe for the shower is within 10cm of a cornor of a wall amiright in thinking this should be covred with conduit or a metalic covering to prevent the cable being drilled through ? as it has no cover flots free behined the wall and now has been plaster borded over ?

It should be protected via a rcd or rcbo at the fuse board, it is good practice to put in trunking or conduit but it doesnt have to be as it should be on a rcd. There is also a supposed safe zone 150mm around a room or vertically or horizontally from a switch or socket or accesorry.
