that would be cellulose paint back then gr8 smell when spraying ,those were the days

Actually it was sprayed in 2 pack "Taxi Black" which I bought in the Crystal Palace area  , 6 litres I seem to remember for around  £150 ! A lot of money then ......My Mate who painted aircraft used what was left to paint most of his Mk1 Mexico !

My car's getting sprayed (by me) in cellulose in a few months time     But my local pro paint shop is blowing the whole thing (inc decals) over with 2K lacquer so the paint should stay nice and bright.
