hello, mk2 1.6 ghia zetec v redtop?

Hello, only had a week and not even back on road buuuut......thinking out loud on a 2.0 conversion, had a redtop on inj in an old nova, went very well, any opinions please on pros and cons of each? heres 1, zetec a ford lol! cheers nathan.

Red top is a good engine, the guy that built my xfow is a big fan of them, and built some big power ones. I think its easier to get a bit more power out of them with a few mods compared to Zetec and cheaper, but may be wrong. Of course the fact its a Vauxhall engine some people frown upon them being fitted to a OSF.

 

Both are quite common so there will be fitting kits out there for both

many thanks yes thats a plus, propper kits so headwork done, remember doing a 2.0l into nova almost 20 years ago real trial and error!
