Any advice on keeping the car tatty,patina etc

Rust isnt to bad, surface rust and all tatty looking.
Id prefer it like that nice and low, than with a fresh paint job

 

whats the best way to try and preserve it from rusting loads more ... underneath and all the major bits will be treated properly, just tatty on the outside?

just give it a clear coat over the top that should sort it

Yea ,cant beat matt clear coat on rust,preserves that nice rat rod look on American cars

Itll be nice and cheap also, its on a pop100e... they look better tatty
