Benjy✌ Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 This is just ridiculous! I'm getting so paranoid when i drive my car now! It's getting to point that's its not fun to drive.. Why can't people keep there f***ing hands to themselves!!
Stiggy Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Don't take this the wrong way. But...... If the prices were not sky high (due to people paying stupid amounts for parts that are rare) this would not happen as much. As an example you don't get mugged for a £7.99 Casio watch, but a £7000 Rolex is a bit different. You won't stop it while there is a market for the parts. Look at the recent theft and tracked to a pikey site, and the Police did not recover it.
mark reed ford Posted July 1, 2014 Report Posted July 1, 2014 I see your point but people pay the price because they have no choice, the problem is the law isn't strong enough, if someone steels your car and is caught they should be locked up and forced to work night shift to pay you compensation and also pay for any damage, if they refuse to work just leave them in prison until they do. I would pay them 50p an hour so it takes time to make the money, they should be given a loan to pay the debt and can't get it out of prison until its paid off. sorry to rant but we all have work hard to get these cars and the thought of some scum bag just taking it gets my back up. 2
CortinaLover1971 Posted July 4, 2014 Report Posted July 4, 2014 I think just cut there hands off instead Difficult decision that, but reading this thread surely there'd be a shortage of cheap tarmaccing, driveway paving and tree cutting services across the UK then? (Apologies to all the legitimate businesses out there!) 1
