pnwrs2000 Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 I've taken the original single choke carb off my 1300 crossflow on my escort and have a twin choke weber and manifold to fit in its place but I've got a problem with it. Manifold and carb fitted fine but ip think I'm missing a bracket or something so that the throttle cable can be fitted and work . The spring type bracket bit that I think the very end of the throttle cable goes into is there but there isn't anything that the outer throttle cable can pull against if that makes sense ? Has anyone got some decent pictures I could look at ? I've tried Google and my Haynes manual but can't find anything decent to show me how the cable should be routed & work. Cheers in advance
over_head_cam Posted October 6, 2014 Report Posted October 6, 2014 Have you got the bracket that bolts to the manifold?
HotRodMatt Posted October 7, 2014 Report Posted October 7, 2014 Sounds like that's what you need. Or it shouldn't be too difficult to fabricate one up? I made one years ago but don't have any pics.
