Gearbox sold.

Yeah it's been a while. Had a clear out and found this so thought I'd see if anyone on here can make use of it. 😊

Selling an Esssex V6 Type 5 gearbox, includes clutch arm, bellhousing and gearstick. The bellhousing has had a piece removed (for clearance on something I'd imagine) and the bush has disintegrated from the bottom of the gearstick but nylon replacements are available. Internals look to be in good condition and all gears select and it turns, but it will want a good clean out as it has been stood a good while. Asking £175, collection preferred from Knaresborough, North Yorkshire, but I am happy to secure it on a pallet if you want to arrange a courier. Any questions, please ask.

Yeah it's definitely past its best! Was going to bin it, was just curious. It bolts up perfectly to the diff gear carrier out of my Mk1. Strange.

Definitely 9 on the pinion.

Hi all, Clearing out my junk/parts from storage and I've found this English CWP, the crownwheel has 33 teeth and the pinion 9, which works out at 3.66. Can't say I've heard of this ratio so what's it come from? Matt

Set of four 108mm PCD 6x15" Revolution 5 spoke road wheels for sale. I bought these to go on my Mk1 Escort and repainted and tidied them up, but sold the car before I got round to fitting them. They come with four new centre caps and a full set of nuts and washers. There's a couple of imperfections as shown in the last two pics but the wheels are in very good overall condition. You don't see these wheels anymore but they really suit classic Fords, fill the arches properly and make a change from the 4 spoke versions. It doesn't like the word Escort in any listings, but I've had perfectly legit inoffensive posts result in a ban before, so sometimes the algorithms just don't work as they should.

Technically it's not a Mk5 here either, but a Mk4B, but we generally refer to them as Mk5s.
