I'm hoping for some advice, I've recently purchased a mk2 1600 super Cortina it has a 4 branch manifold fitted and it has a twin choke weber 32 dfm, But I would like to upgrade the carb to achieve a bit more go! Am I best to go for a weber 32 36 (if so a would a 2litre pinto jetted one be ok?) A weber 38 dgas, A pair of twin 40's or some bike carbs? At the moment i'm not looking at having a load of engine/head work done but maybe in the future! Many thanks for any help!

I would think if the car is running ok, in particular the carb,  there is little point changing it until you start to modify the rest of the engine.
