Danish Posted January 14, 2015 Report Posted January 14, 2015 I'm looking at getting a 2-part spare wheel post, like this one: http://www.ralloy.com/ral103b-two-piece-spare-wheel-post--alloy_c54p121.php But they sell it with (£65) and without (£32) a clamp: http://www.ralloy.com/ral103a-two-piece-spare-wheel-post-alloy-plus-clamp_c54p122.php Does anyone have one of these and is the clamp necessary? I'm loathe to pay double for something I don't need.
