Front seat tilt mechanism

I have a part of my tilt mechanism missing.

It's a small connecting rod that screws into the cable end and hooks onto the release hook.....hmm....that doesn't explain much does it

 

This side is ok...Note the small hook that screws into the cable then attaches to the plate that releases the seat to tilt forwards

 

 

 

This side is missing therefore only one side is releasing when you lift the lever to tilt.

 

 

They are mk1 RS roll top seats and I'm wondering if a standard seat has the same mechanism.

Does anyone know?

I do know that my standard gt seats are totally different  to those dal,dont know about any others though.

I got a feeling all other seats will be the same as each other Jim. ....except these feckers! !!!!
