Wobbers Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Hi all, I've got a mk1 escort with a 1600 X-Flow engine. It needs a new battery and I'm unsure what to go for. Its currently got a Lucas one but no indication to what its spec is. Any help wil be greatly received. Thanks Stu
dalmarshall Posted April 1, 2015 Report Posted April 1, 2015 Type 037 if it still has square bolt through terminals. The cold cranking amps (CCA) can differ slightly between different brands (240-320 ish)....higher CCA will turn it over a bit quicker and generally have a bit more 'nuts'! If it's a standard x flow any will be fine
