trace original dealership?

put my reg into regfinder and says it was first registered in luton. does anybody know in 1979 which dealerships that were there?

i want to get original dealer stickers made up, is there another way to find this out?

Google yer reg no and it tells u where first registered

As far as I'm aware, in older vehicles it's to do with the first two b letters of the reg. Mine is VWA 693Y, and VW is a code for a dealership in Sheffield

Almost, it's the second two letters, WA, WB, WE, WF, WJ were all Sheffield.

Google suggests my car came from Norfolk (where I bought it from coincidentally) but that list suggests Chester!

It's the second 2 letters so wa, my dad used to get a police federation diary that showed all the registration and location don't know if that still happens?

Lucky for me the Fiesta still has the original dealership sticker in the rear window

Still get the diary, but it doesn't have the Reg list in unfortunately.
