bazoff72 Posted June 14, 2015 Author Report Posted June 14, 2015 Here are a few pics of the old girl ! There are loads more but I just don't have them with me at the moment, I have the original bill of sale all the old m o to and a big folder of bills and paperwork plus the 2 magazines that it was featured in and a disc with hundreds of photos of the car through the ages I would like as close to £7000 as I can get but could be tempted by any sensible offers as my mk1 escort is taking priority and it's almost done ! So make me an offer Cheers Barry I'll add more pics when I can
bazoff72 Posted July 1, 2015 Author Report Posted July 1, 2015 NOW ON EBAY ...................................................................................................
puddy Posted July 7, 2015 Report Posted July 7, 2015 That maybe red and gold , but it ain't the Alan Mann colour scheme mate. Glwts , puddy
bazoff72 Posted July 7, 2015 Author Report Posted July 7, 2015 NO !!!!!!!! and Guess what its not the real Alan Mann car either!!!!!!!!!!!! dont you just love those people who point out the bloody obvious. it doesnt have the same number! It has 4 doors! and to be honest im not even sure that they are the same shades of red or gold!, but ill tell you something that does happen is that 98% of people that are old enough to know who Alan Mann racing team is , say " thats a really nice Cortina and done in Alan Mann colours". I guess people may be forgiven for thinking such things especially if they do not happen to have a photo of the original AM car on them. ask people to think of a colour of a double decker bus? 99% will say red, although there are lot of other colours too. 4
Danish Posted July 7, 2015 Report Posted July 7, 2015 Very nice engine bay. I'm heading to Ford EFI myself in a year or two. Good luck with the sale.
