4 Speed Gearbox for 1972 MK1 1.3XL WANTED...

8)Hi All

looking for a 4 Speed box for my MK1 1972 1.3xl escort ....its currently an Automatic and the box is on its last legs ...it randomly looses reverse ...and refuses to kick up to 3rd gear ...so I am always in 2nd gear ...max speed 50mph @ 3500rpm......

 

so I think the best bet is to convert to manual ......especially as she is my daily driver ...40mile round trip...yes really...lol...most people cant believe I use it every day

 

I need a 4 speed box...not sure if a MK2 Will fit the same as a MK1....

 

Need a Flywheel

Clutch

Clutch Cable

Pedal Box

Prop shaft

...the guy who is doing the conversion for me thinks he might have a prop shaft & pedal box in his garage !!!!

 

Can get most parts off fleabay but I thought I would ask you guys as I would rather give a ford dude the money....

 

Im In Glasgow ......if you are local great but if not ..hermes are cheap & reliable.......
