Danish Posted March 5, 2016 Report Posted March 5, 2016 I have a gearbox for sale - I'm no expert and piecing information together, but I believe it's a ZF 6-speed box from a BMW, converted to fit the Volvo 5-cylinder engines, as used by Ford in the Focus ST225, Focus RS, Mondeo 2.5T, etc. I'll take some better photos tomorrow, but here is one. You can see on the far left there is a smooth ring of weld where the Volvo bell-housing has been attached. It's big - too big for my Mk3 Cortina without cutting the tunnel which I don't want to do. But ideal for a rally project where you're putting in a larger tunnel. I'm looking for £250, collection only from Chepstow area.
