HaynesMan Posted April 6, 2016 Author Report Posted April 6, 2016 daft question but how do you make a zetec run with that flywheel on? Not sure on the specifics as I've never done it! But heard it on locostbuilders that its pretty common. The ones on eBay seemed to be marketed that way. Apparently it's so you can fit a type 9 gearbox.
eeb43 Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 but the ones that ive got dont have the holes in the back to get the timing from?
HaynesMan Posted April 7, 2016 Author Report Posted April 7, 2016 but the ones that ive got dont have the holes in the back to get the timing from? Timing can come off the bottom front pulley for the crank off a 1.8CVH, I believe.
eeb43 Posted April 7, 2016 Report Posted April 7, 2016 yes it does thats why im asking how a zetec will work with this?
HaynesMan Posted April 7, 2016 Author Report Posted April 7, 2016 Because, I believe, that you can take the timing off the front pulley if you use one from a 1.8CVH.
