Spa 6hrs

Had a great long weekend ( four days ).

 

Had a slight fueling issue on the way in on thursday in which we think was vapour lock of the Facet Red Top.

Had a great 20 minuts on track on thursday evening.

Spoke to a lot of international people and even had a great chat with Rick Wood and he even gave us his inside track pass so we could park our Capri next to his race truck so it looked like he had two Liqui Moly Zakspeed Capri's on track.

 

The six hours endurance race is truly amazing. Did the circuit walk ( 7km ) an hour after the start and watched the cars drive into the dark. Even the fuel stop is amazing with the drivers fuelling their own cars and track crew pushing them to start as the batteries where flat on some of them.

It was a very exciting race.

We went, but in the daily unfortunately as the Cortina decided to destroy it's front brakes in the week !!

What an awesome weekend and defiantly going next year, hopefully in the Capri.

As JP says the 6 hour race is amazing, and walking around the pits talking to the different teams was a great experience..
