guido Posted October 23, 2016 Report Posted October 23, 2016 anyhow Hanco is different, likes his hands get dirty
Hancockshire Posted October 28, 2016 Author Report Posted October 28, 2016 I will admit, initially I tried to become a Graphic designer but I couldn't continue studying thanks to the Dominos' Job. I thought that because there are plenty of restorers in my neck of the woods, one of them would be happy to train me. Not the case. Closest I got was an unpaid voluntary position at a mini restorers outside Bridgnorth. Stayed there three months until the money completely ran out & I couldn't afford the fuel to go there anymore (bastard too because a week after I left, a vacancy came up!). I loved working there as the boss had his Grandfather's Mk1 Capri 1600GT Facelift. Capri's my favourite car so I got very giddy when I got the chance to back it into the workshop lol. If i was to become a restorer, I'd love to build "What if" cars. Kind of Inspired by a lovely Princess 2000ST which I saw on the Leyland Princess forum Keeping it relevent though, what if ford made... Ford Cortina 2.3 Injection Sport (like the granada)Ford Escort 1600 Sport estate (I've seen an RS2000 estate about & I do like the concept) Ford Capri RS Cosworth (with the Sierra 1993cc DOHC set up) Ford Escort XRV (more likely based on a Mk3 Escort Van) I'd like to build the answers
guido Posted October 28, 2016 Report Posted October 28, 2016 well, old geezers do compete the youngsters too ya know. I know CG a bit, heres a modified classic car concept design i was busy with. Unfortunatly, i did not finish it yet, needs some bits and because UV mapping is another chapter to learn.
