Mk1 Escort Rear Quarterlight Glass

Hi, 
I am nearing the end of a MK1 Escort Two Door restoration.  

I ma having issues with the rear quarterlight glass.

The car originally had opening rear windows, the mechanisms were not included when I bought the car.  

 

I am hoping someone can tell me if the fixed quarterlights and opening quarterlights are the same size?

I have bought new fixed rubbers, but they don't seem to want to fit into the hole!

Seem to remember when we changed my brothers opening rears that we had to get the glass aswell as they are different sizes.

hi, the glass has two differend sizes, you need the fixed glass as well, the hole is the same,
