  1. Seem to remember when we changed my brothers opening rears that we had to get the glass aswell as they are different sizes.
  2. Have a look at the Wosp starters. A lot of Old skool Anglia owners have used one of these, myself included and I have not heard any reports of them not being happy. http://www.wosperformance.co.uk/products/starter-motors/
  3. Have you tried the 105Speed forum, or the Owners club forum with an ad? These are the sites to ask for any cars for sale.
  4. They need an extra kick, they really annoy me when they smash up a perfectly good car just for the hell of it. I think Banger racing should be stopped, the classic car is getting rarer every meeting they do.
  5. Its just a case of turning the whole light unit through 180 to mount it upside down so to speak. Hope that makes sense. As for the rear light, I take it you mean the rear mounted reverse light? One that was used was the Lucas WLR576 spot light. Hope this helps.
  6. My 62 Mk1 Lotus Cotina and my L reg Capri 3 litre mk1 face lift, also my first Anglia 105E 3748PG, number plate would be worth a few bob now I bet.
  7. Coverage was OK, but as said the qualifying was totally confusing, why do they have to keep messing with it when last seasons system worked well and you had cars on the track till the very last second.
  8. Looks like a 3rail gearbox to me, could be Cortina, all depends on the ratios, could be a 2000E box if the ratio's are correct.
  9. Thats nice to know it has been returned to its owner. Did they get the buggers that pinched it?
  10. Nice looking car you have found yourself, well done.
  11. Well done, post some pictures up or even better check out 105Speed forum.
  12. One on Ebay at the moment. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-ANGLIA-105E-112E-1198cc-NEW-BRAKE-CABLE-HANDBRAKE-QUINTON-HAZELL-BC651-/262128146987?hash=item3d080e1a2b:g:CSQAAOSwYHxWOnX3
  13. Oh yeah, must agree with you on that one. Always had a soft spot for the Mustang.
  14. Actually I like those rims, would look sweet on my 105E Anglia.
  15. Did you remove the carb when you rebuilt it, if so get a paint brush with some fuel and brush around the bottom of the carb with the engine running, if the engine note rises then you have found the leak.
  16. Looks very lean to me, should be a biscuit colour to be running right.
  17. Oh that is sad that some one has stolen it just to go banger racing in it, They want stringing up by the gonads.
  18. I did say 'A PROJECT' not your project. But as I say you can never start them too young
  19. Excellent work there young man. Seems your Dad has all the right gear for you to play with, keep at it he may even let you loose on a project one day.
  20. Just seen a nice white one on Ebay, very clean looking, only £10,500 which is reasonable if it is as good as it looks.

Being ex RAF I had the pleasure of seeing these close up when I was at RAF Cottesmore in Rutland as it was then. We used to get 4 of these there on exercise for a week at a time along with 6 Lightning fighters, they used to make a wonderful noise when they were all scrambled at the same time. But must admit that the sound of a Rolls Royce Merlin in a Spitfire takes some beating, just got to love that sound.
  22. Thanks for that Ugg10. Well I'm happy to say that these have been snapped up and are all sold. I will be doing some more early next year, will refreash this post when they are ready. Thanks
  23. Yeah too cheap, thats why it has been removed.
  24. I have 3 of these for sale at £20 plus post and packing. Please PM me if you are interested. Thanks Ian.
