We had snow in the Midlands over night but it has all gone now, just wet and very windy at the moment but they recon it will get colder over night so might be all white again in the morning.

Yeah would be funny if I knew your dad Smoke em. I was based at Episcopi and used to frequent Limmasol for shopping and the night life. Used to live in what they used to call BG for some time, can't remember how to spell Berengaria but I think your Dad would know. Knew many people from Episcopi and Akrotiri so its possible I have seen your dad. I loved my time there and have been back several time on holiday.

I did 6 years in the RAF, from 72 to 78, so a long time ago. Spent 2 and half years in Cyprus, that was great, hitching rides on all sorts of aircraft to and from England and also jollies with the Air Sea Rescue guys all over Cyprus. Then I returned to England and spent my last 18 months at RAF Cottesmore in Rutland, what a skive that was as the station was non-operational so we just dossed about keeping the radio equipment working. Had my second Angila while I was here and it turned out to be a right beast of a car with full bubble arches and a 1500gt engine in Monaco Red.

Well hopefully I will be putting the engine back in my Anglia and getting it started,( about time too I hear you all say) then only a few little jobs to get it to MOT stage.

Thought the van half shaft was shorter than the saloon one? Not sure if it is the same as a Cortina one either.

I have a spare 3.89 diff for sale if any body is interested. I live in the Midlands about 5 minutes from junction 10 of the M6. I would like £120 for this but the item would have to be collected as it will cost a small fortune to send it through the post. As can be seen from the pictures below it is in very good condition and has very little ware.

Ah right, used to go to a Kitcar meeting there ages ago. I will keep you informed of what happens as I have a few ideas as to where we might be able to hold a weekday evening meeting, just got to check them out and chat to the owners/managers. Watch this space you never know.

Don't think the OSF's will be a problem, I will have a look at a couple of places to see if they would be interested in holding a meet for us. All will depend on numbers of cars and size of the car park they have. I will keep you posted as to any possibilities.

I'm in Willenhall West Mids. Think we need to get a meet in this area as I am sure there are loads of Old Ford owners around this area.

It has 40 DCOE 2 stamped on both carbs. Other than that all they have is the number of the carb itself. Hope this is what you were after. I think these originally came off the Alfa GTV 1750cc and have been rejetted to run on 1600 Crossflow .
