smcka Posted March 1, 2007 Report Posted March 1, 2007 I am in Australia, where the sun is hot and the bikini-clad girls hotter, but thats not the subject of this email. I like to buy the magazine, but most newsagents don't carry it. So I thought about subscribing. By subscribing I pay a per magazine price of $16.00 AUD, when I can buy it in the shops for $13.50 AUD. I wonder why the cost is so different? Also, Autosport magazine, which I picked up this morning costs less to buy here but is much heavier, so air freight can't be the reason. Perhaps if a decent overseas subscription cost could be arranged, you would make more sales. Certainly most of the blokes in my car club buy it, or bludge it of someone else second hand if they are broke and maybe they would also appreciate a cheaper buy price. None of the local magazine outlets have this to subscribe to, so we have to go through UK. stephen
