oooops! yea i spoke to billy too and he was a bit p'd off cos he sed he didnt even invite the bloke along and it was billys feature for his car....dunno wat happened there..

billy clarke said he turned up for his feature someone from the magazine invited the person who owned and built the car years ago as he was a freind of someone from magazine then billy let this fellow have ago in his motor now billy is disappointed because the fellow got the front cover picture and most of the write up you'll have to see for yourselfs people

Being off ill, i'm not 100% sure on this one. But as far as i'm aware, BB was in contact with Billy throughout the write up of the feature.

It was a good feature i thought . Tango has had a very high profile media following over the years and all it's old owners probably still love this car so can't wait too see it again . This means that it's new owner will have to expect alot of attention when ever he goes out in it , especially on photo shoots etc . I doubt if the previous owners or the magazine meant to upset the new owner though , they were more than likely just excited too see it again .

I helped daryl along with wayne wigger from wpe wacky performance engines build this car back in the day , Daryl did not mean for anyone to get upset about this and sends his appologies to Billy , he was as excited as anyone to see the car back down in sarf london giving it large again , i know daryl just wanted to help with the input on the feature as seeing the car has not changed much since the day it was built i think it was well worth it , with the say so from the new owner , I do think with out his input the feature may of been a bit bland and big daryl helped retro ford compile a feature the car deserves , Good Luck To Billy on his new ride and hope he enjoys it as much as daryl did and I did when i got to drive it a few times

if you buy a car someone else has put the spanner time in on then I don't think it's right to feature it in a mag and not mention the person who built the car especially if the current owner only bought it and just drives it.

Jimsiss you shouldnt say things you just presume billy has done a lot of work to that car he has had all the rear suspension off changed all the rear linkage changed all the brakes altered cam timing leg inserts wiring

tyres exhaust work wiring so would say hes done a fair bit billy was just unhappy as someone came along and put there own stamp on the car so he felt a bit un happy about it being his bit off fame he understands that

other people should be mentioned that helped build the car but to have pics off someone else driving his car was unfair

just re-read what I wrote, I never said he did nothing to the car, I said especially if the person bought it and just drives it I never said he hadn't touched it it was just an extra reference to people that buy prebuilt cars and get them featured as their own work
