The car is an MSC logbooked forest spec rally car. The car has a 2 litre Dave Brooks Pinto with a blue painted alloy rocker cover with Ford RS on & twin 45 Webers. The engine is mated to a type 9 5 speed box. The car has a 4 linked English rear axle with a 5.1:1 ratio limited slip diff, semi floating half shafts, disc brakes on the rear with twin alloy callipers. The car has Bilstein rears shocks & standard struts with alloy hubs & callipers. It is fitted with a strut brace. The car has an alloy fuel tank, twin fuel pumps, filters & battery located in the boot. The car has Sparco seats & TRS 6 point harnesses which were new in January. The car has a firewall, Safety Devices rollcage with horizontal bar across the back. The harnesses attach to the bar. The car has a 6 dial dash with GPS speedo & electronic rev tripmeter mounted for the navigator. It has an alloy gear knob, a Peltor intercom & 3 spoke Sparco steering wheel. There is a homemade switch panel mounted to the underside of the dash beneath the dials. The car has alloy door cards, one unpainted & one painted black. The car is turreted & has RS wings fitted. It has a battery cutoff & external extinguisher switches located on the passenger side scuttle panel. It has holes drilled in the front panel, is fitted with quarter bumpers, bonnet pins, spotlight brackets & has headlight protectors. It also has a set of mudflaps fitted. The car has Minilite alloys, perspex windows & fibreglass bonnet & boot. The car is fitted with an alloy radiator & has blue hoses. The car was driven away from Motoscope & was seen being driven at around 2:30am on the A690 at West Rainton. The car was stolen from a 71 year old who has spent 15 years getting it to how it is now, he used the car for rallying, it was his hobby & his passion.
