escortmad79 Posted May 5, 2025 Report Posted May 5, 2025 Grey primered 1961 mk2 Zephyr lowline rat rod registration KGU676A was stolen from Madeira Drive in Brighton on the morning of Wednesday 30th April 2025 by 2 people posing as potential buyers. The car was taken on a test drive but didn't return. The car is in grey primer & has bonnet pins & a scoop pop riveted to the bonnet. The rear arches have been radiused & the rear doors don't have door handles fitted. The front bumper & all badges have been removed. The car has a pair of rectangular peep mirrors attached to the doors. The car is powered by a 289ci Ford V8 from a 60s Mustang & is fitted with an Edelbrock performer package with intake manifold, Mustang freeflow exhaust manifolds running into a headman twin exhaust system which come out at the sides under the rear doors, Holley 4 barrel carb, forged TRW pistons, Edelbrock cam & high pressure oil pump. It has blue Samco hoses fitted. The gearbox is a 4 speed C4 auto box with a 6 stud shatterproof Lakewood bell housing & a BM quick shifter. The car has a 9" Mustang rear axle with a limited slip differential. The car is fitted with 14" Appliance Slotmags with 195 tyres on the front & 235 tyres on the rear. Inside, the car has brown seats, wooden door cards, a rev counter & a Mountney steering wheel. 1
