Lowering the servo is very simple but requires either a new hole in the support or a new hole in the inner wing.

It's by far the easier option. I'd not attempt it unless you have your carbs, on the inlet, ready to trial things though.

Hi Quickrack

thanks for the reply, I’m not adverse to dropping the servo a bit but at the moment I’m stuck as to which manifold I need,  and indeed if it’s the 1300 short manifold getting hold of one. I’m open to suggestions if anyone has the correct spec. I have the carbs but I’d like all the parts of the equation before I start to play
