West Midlands meet.......??

This always seems to crop up, but nothing sticks

So lets try a different strategy

Name a place thats central that:

1) Have food facilities and drinks

2) central enough to include surrounding areas, such as Birmingham, Coventry etc.

3) and lastly a date like, e.g. every 2nd sunday of the month, that we can stick to so people know when it is.

Every 2nd Sunday is good.....Have to work on Saturdays

if you could make it within 30 mins of stoke-on-trent that would ace id defo be up for it as nothing ever happens up this way its poo

Birmingham is about 50 mins from Stoke-on-trent

I'd be up for this, though as usual you can't please everyone all of the time when it comes to distances, so i think the best thing is to have the meet somewhere like nec or that area as it opens up the oppurtunity for more people as its more central, and is easily acssesible from the motorway

The toby carvery place sounds good place to me

It was there before so i think the only way of sorting a new meet is putting it there again i only got to one there and it was a great place for parking etc

So toby cavery by nec every second sunday sounds great to me

Time: Hows 11am-1pm?? (maybe a little later??)

So we can sample some of the pubs grub if we feel like it

Timewise i think slightly later but its whats best for everyone matters

Try PM'ing some other midlanders this link and see what they think

a little later would help,poss 2pm after lunch then a relaxing afternoon

Anyone think making it a Retro car meet, would be a good idea??

Got a few people to PM that havent posted on here yet, so that'll bump the numbers up a little more

i will attend in a fresh built mk1 escort my brother in a fresh built mk3 capri and my mate in a mk3 capri (if we can finish it in time) old skool fords only for us if you open it up to all types of retro cars some may hijack the meet and spoil it i think we need a good regular meet for old fords in the midlands we have enough cars just need to all get together i have spotted 3 new built escorts round my way that i will try and get in touch with as well
