  1. I like this one, just because theres a lot to look at really!
  2. What about a "your other projects" section... Kind of an anything goes area which doesnt encroach on any of the pre 80's stuff. I personally cant see the harm in something like that. Plus the members who are interested in other builds can comment, those who aren't dont have to bother looking. Run it as a trial. If it doesnt take off or add anything positive to the forum then just get rid.
  3. Youve missed my point mate, and to be honest im not really in favour of a change but all im saying is that the poll isnt exactly fair.
  4. The way I see it theres only a few votes in it. A vote for anything other than leave it how it is- is a vote for change. The poll isn't exactly fair... Its like saying do you prefer cereal for breakfast or toast with butter or toast with jam or toast with marmalade? Obviously the votes for toast would be split depending on how people like their toast... But really they are all voting for the same breakfast.
  5. I posted yesterday morning saying that other cars should be allowed... I was thinking about this last night and to be honest I've changed my opinion a bit. The reason I joined in the first place was because I saw you guys at santa pod and had a look round a few of the cars... I thought I will have a bit of that. So I joined mainly to perv on your motors in the sense that you come on this site and you know what your getting.... All in all it should remain the same but the forum should arrange things with other rival forums i.e. Shootouts to bring in extra income (if that is whats needed)
  6. First of all I am a mk2 Fiesta owner. I think that the forum should allow newer fords, but have them in a section i.e.80's Fords. I don't think this would change the identity of the club but just add further like minded people to the forum. In terms of at the shows, it would just make the stand bigger and you could group the cars by age/ model in different areas. To be honest I think most people would just carry on showing with other groups. It would also make the osf drag challenge a bit more exciting if we could take part. With new people comes new ideas and progress, new topics for discussion etc. Either way I will continue visiting the forum.
  7. Hi everyone, Thought I would join up so I can get a bit of an idea of what to look out for when buying a mk2 escort! I currently drive a mk2 fiesta but have wanted an escort for ages... Looking forward to reading some of the project threads on here
