Know it's not a YB, but it looks the part done black, as does the catch tank. Loads of polished stuff in the engine bay reminds me of my darker Escort RST days and all those show 'n shine boys at the Ford shows!

Each to their own, but I personally feel the YB looks too modern in most OSF's which are pre-80's/90's while the YB always feels post-80's/90's (yes, I know the dates overlap..) A friend has an NA YB cam-cover he's done entirely in crinkle-black, which I think really suits the car - a Mk2 RS2000. Feels more 'of the time', like the BDA cam-cover. I personally hate stuff like Union Jacks, St Georges' or Scotish cross's airbrushed onto cam covers - all very american hot-rod or Euro-scene. Just keep it nice and simple: black or silver if it's pressed steel, or otherwise a nice crinkle-black.

That looks perfect! Never been a fan of that airbrushing-style on cars. Looks like it should now! What happened then? I saw a vid of the bonnet flying off - something worse?

What rims are they mate? The Midlands ones? If so, what width and offset, plus tyres, etc... quite fancy something similar for my Mex!
