im back now jo-had the dreaded "anti ford feeling" for a couple of months and almost bought a triumph 2500s but a swift course of anti depressants and electric shock treatment brought me back into the fold to be honest he was going that quick i didnt really see him coming and all i made out was that it was a big dark car with a boot-bmw or merc maybe. my girlfriend was surprised when i said that to her as im a professional driver and apparently im one of the most observational drivers shes been in a motor with old bill werent interested - no one was hurt, road wasnt blocked and i had no details for the car HPE last time my car did a 360 was on the feild at weston park in april-it was far more fun back then As you said mate good job your a professional driver even though you took the tyre's off the rim's it could of been ya rear quarter and front wing well driven cheers matey-i know it was lucky and these things happen but its a shock all the same...it all happens in 3s mind-the mrs hurt her neck saturday night and her daughter passed out and ended up in a & e sunday-all fun in the cords house HOPEFULLY thats it now!

some tw@t forced me off the road friday night on the m6/a444 junction.i was heading home from rhiannons (the girlfriend) doing 40-50mph and this dark car came from nowhere at warp factor 9 as i left the roundabout and was millimetres from my front wing when it cut me up- i stood on the anchors and steered hard left, did a full 360 and smacked both r/h wheels on the kerb in mid spin onto the grass verge. absolutely shat myself and the tw@t didnt stop!!!!! i limped the car 200 yards to a parking bay. changed the rear wheel for the spare while i told rhi about it on the phone-good job she came out to me as i got half a mile and the front tyre deflated too. all i can say is thank god no one else was involved and only my pride was damaged-couldve been far worse! i know i have 2 scrap 17" tyres and 2 dented rims. steerings stiff (darren and racingdave off my site have both suggested the rack is likely to be bent). dunno the full extent til i get the car checked by someone a bit more mechanically minded than me how sad does she look rear-alloy LOOKS ok but wont risk using that tyre again front could be buckled-couple of good dents again i wont risk the tyre if the alloys are shagged i may get them repaired but get some 15 or 16 inch ones for daily use (mondeo 5 spokes or scorpio ultima 12 spokes) and keep the 17s for showtime..................although she might end up on 13" rims yet as moneys tight-i move house in 8 days! had a prod around underneath and the rack looks straight but ill get a recon to be on the safe side-you never know do you like i said-ive only just stopped shaking

seeing as its dark now heres a dark pic of the ex markrobson1 (off buysellcortina) mobile couple of better ones...totalford sticker was put on at 745 yesterday morning-got to promote my site already sorted most of the electrical niggles-with a mish mash of the original fuse box and the spare dunc kindly gave me did the trick- the carbs had a good clean and the timings had a tiny tweak-she doesnt stall as much now- i need to get it done properly and have the carb rebuilt really. plus i need to investigate why shes over heated on mark- i suspect the rads blocked or theres an airlock somewhere next jobs are stereo and speakers as mark has kept the others for his new crusader-seeing as i have a proper ford radio that mark took out of the crusader i might just fit the cd player in the glovebox or something!! loving the estate in a big way
