New member just signed up! currently on holiday in Croatia where it is p.....ing down with rain, sat with my laptop thinking I could hard at work on my little MK2 Escy back at home in the glorious sunshine. I know you are all thinking SAD but have taken our lass 8 times around the world since arriving shes happy. have read last 3 copies of Clasic Ford and nearly finished Graham Robsons book on works RS1800 for the second time, just in case i missed anything first time!! Currently driving a MK2 White Mex (rep) on a P plate with modified 2.1 Pinto on R1 carbs, coilovers, type 9, and all the correct badging, grille, clocks, 4 cibies etc looks fantastic in Diamond white, 2" lowered all round. Been completely stripped and every panel replaced over 5 years and will be getting out and about at some shows. Probably classic ford on 2nd June will be first run out. Currently the inside is more rally look but have all the correct panels to go back on, parcel shelf, door cards etc but looking for a good or reasonable set of early rolltop recaros. apart form the usual process of trolling through e-bay I wondered if any memebers knew of any seats for sale. Also looking for a rear seat as well. photo should be on here of car getting set up with the R1 carbs at Bogg Bros.with Mr Bogg himself, great character and these guys know what they are doing.
