Going to check the timing the belt is a bit loose think I will put a new one on and set the timing

Got 1 even shorter carbs bin set up at my wits end with this car much more its on eBay

Two things, where can I get a long clutch cable from for a MKII Escort RS2000, 2ltr Pinto on a type 9 gearbox as it keeps rubbing on the four brands exhaust manifold and the lower steering UJ. Also, any ideas on that the car will not rev above 4000 and its got no power at all, just coughs, farts and holds back. Running 2.1 on twin 45's. Thanks in advance.
