Can I have a bit of advice please. In the middle of restoring mk 2 rs 2000, this car is far from standard, but I have heard that the back panel is supposed to be black, it is currently painted the same colour as the car, so do I paint it black or leave it blue?

Sorry not bin on been away a few days with the missis and my new son doing the daddy thing got a list as long as my arm to do on the car so I don't know how long it will take to sort them all out all I can do is sort them out 1at a time

They are going to try a buff it if that don't work they will flat it with wet and dry lets hope it sorts it

not sure think it got damp under the cover then got worm when the sun came out

Believe it or not, it was under the cover for about 8 hours. Its been nothing but problems since I've had it. Unfortunately for me, I'm the 13th owner so think its a bit of a bad omen. Its going away to have the underneath under sealed and tidied up a bit and hopefully they can sort the bodywork out at the same time....

Had a nightmare, left my car covered up in the rain, outside, took the cover off and the paint has reacted against the cover. It looks like someone has poured brake fluid over it. Nightmare!
