Hi all joined today and thought I would do my first post and tell you a little about me .well I have owned a mk2 Mexico for the past 6 years but for the last 5 it has been stripped and sitting about thirty feet in the air at a friends unit . It was last used as a rally car competing in the btrda asphalt championship At the end of the season the car got stripped to be rebuilt and it has just never happened .my daughter got me to go to the classic ford show the weekend and the passion came back so now the rebuild is about tobegin I have decided to build a replica of the Andrews heat for hire car as the president of my car club is Russell Brooke's well as soon as I start will put a thread up in the restoration section Thanks for reading Richard
