just noticed they do the ducktail spoiler too i got one of these for mine for a bargain £10 at the time i thought the zakspeed ones had em - so i needed it for my replica but after doing some research they didn't but i might fit it anyway as it looks great

i gave away a 4.44 cortina axle and a narrow escort atlas , scrapped an escort van mk2 that needed a sill aslo chucked a mint escort mk2 ghia black interior then saw what they fetched on ebay worst one ever was my mates a mint mk2 escort failed MOT on the spare wheel well hole - couldn't weld at the time so we scrapped it and it was mint still have the numberplate on garage wall BWB809T

mine had a mint dark grey headlining in - infact it was by far the best thing on the car - but i took it out anyway

a guy i knew had fitted a vtec into a ford pop using a type 9 - got it all running and found he had 5 reverse gears in the end he swapped it to a V6 cologne 2.9 from my old granada, i think he did consider flipping the rear axle but running the box the wrong way round prolly wouldnt have lasted long

i got XE in my mk2 escort would be nice if it was a ford but it aint and face facts the XE is a better engine lb for £ than a pinto or a zetec worse still my mk1 has a rover engine - same goes nice if it was ford but you cant pick many ford engines up that make 200bhp for £100

yeah mate they are called starcraft conversions. there is a granada based one on ebay at the moment

looks tops mate race reps are the way to go also did you have the plates made if so where did you get them from and how much just im after a set in that style and the cheepest ones ive found are £50+
