mine isnt adjustable unfortunately (although it would be hard to adjust once the engines in anyway as its going in a fiesta mk1) £50 is a bit steep for me sorry, even for one with the removable cover

timing cover to fit my 711m, it has duplex timing chains if that makes a difference, just after one as cheap as possible as the one i already have has been cut for some reason

if a manifold is made to fit twin IDF's, are there any other carbs available that will fit correctly?

i may have found a genuine series x one! just waiting for pics from the seller to confirm

i was thinking of getting one made out of steel, but would much prefer an original one, either genuine ford or one of the burton ones

For sale is my genuine 1982 Y reg fiesta mk1 1300 sport with 41k miles requiring some welding and paint. This is an extremely rare car and much rarer than the likes of supersport's and xr2's. I purchased the car on 21/12/2013 with a plan of restoring it to its former glory from the previous owner who owned it since September 2003. The previous owner had stored it away in his garage in 2004, replaced the front panel and sold it to me as he was being forced to empty the unit he was renting. Its a great car but I am forced to let it go as i have since bought a black supersport that needs a complete restoration and that is what i was looking for in the first place. When i first got the car home (after its 300mile journey from the south!) i put a fresh battery on it, filled the carb with fuel and it fired up within a few turns of the key. It now starts first time every time, the electronic choke works great and it idles and revs perfectly, also it has factory fitted electronic ignition which means no fiddling with points! It rolls freely although it could do with air in the tyres and everything seems to work. I haven't really done anything to it since i got it other than give it a wash and a light cleaning. The car in generally really solid apart from some rust as shown in the boot floor and also the footwells but nothing major like a whole panel needing to be replaced, the only rust on the car is about as bad as shown in the boot and it is most definitely worth saving as they all rust in those places.This fiesta also has the optional rear seat belts and is a 100% complete car that will be ready for MOT after a little welding work. The car will come on a full set of 4 xr2 pepper pot alloy wheels as seen on the rear in the pictures with the 5th in the boot (complete set). i also have available separately the set of 5 original 1300s steel wheels as seen on the front in the pictures (different width/offset to escort mk3 etc) including the 4 outer trim rings and 4 centre caps (specific to the 1300s) If you have any more questions just send me a message and i will get back to you asap, I am more than happy to let people come and view the car before the end of the auction. The car really is the perfect base for a restoration although it has scruffy paint, try finding another blue 1300s, with or without the original wheels and wheel trims (not pictured) The car will have to be paid for as soon as possible once the auction ends however i am able to store the car for a little longer once payment is made if required. low loader/trailer access is no problem.

IF it is just damage to the interior... can the insurance company force you to take money off them? or can you just say that you yourself are willing to repair it to how it was without anything being recorded on a HPI check

i find that the car having no steering wheel whilst being on full lock, having a wheel or two missing or even being completely stripped makes it less attractive to thieves lol aswell as being blocked in by 3 modern worthless cars

is your insurance company not having anything todo with it? theres always the option of rounding up some nutters that like a fight and offering them beer in exchange for the escort
