I totally agree but theyve been doing that type of stop a long time now..how much practise do they need traffic is traffic it hasnt changed much over the last few years.5 police vehicles were used dont know how many individuals were present.just seems a needless expense to me aswell as lack of consideration to many many tax paying law abiding motorists

A simple hidden switch to the coil stops the feckers from starting it.so the only other way of getting it away is tow or pick up.either of them two would look mighty suspicious in the early hours of the morning..i know they will stop at nothing if they want it but stoplocks are a waste of money.the thief can see it and know that once its smashed off theyre away.but finding a hidden switch takes time and increases the risk of a neighbour .the police or even the local peeping tom spotting them..thats my opinion anyway.i have 3 classic cars and i live in an area that everytime you close a window you risk trapping some fuckas fingers in .but to date..all good...

Was heading up the m40 this morning towards birmingham and im certain the police were practising one of them stops where they block the car in.in the 3rd lane aswell.a bit further up was the traffic car with a huge amount of traffic stopped.the only car i saw stopped and blocked in was a silver volvo but it had blue flashing lights in the grill if anybody else saw it and i am wrong then please correct me as i was travelling up the other way and i wasnt hanging around.but if im right and i know they need the practise.surely there would be other places to practise other than the m40 mid morning

Long shot i know.does anyone know the whereabouts of my old cortina GOP 316L was a 2litre gxl in daytona yellow when i had it.according to dvla its been untaxed since 1985 when i parted with it.seems odd that it hasnt been relicensed since then as it was only 12yrs old.unless ofcourse it could of been written off.??

putting it on the fuel is definatly not the answer are you an up and coming politician.?? do you not think we pay enough for fuel already.? and as for the no need for tax discs because the police can check the car out surely thats providing the police car is equipped with anpr so that it pings up and to my knowledge the local panda cars are not equipped. that leaves room for a certain number to get away with having to pay at all especially if you live in some of these rural areas where the sight of a traffic car is as rare as a 9 bob note and is only patrolled by the local copper on a pushbike. for those that do.good luck to ya
