Can anybody recommend a reasonably priced headlining fitter in the birmingham west midlands area.??

On my registration doc it says reg no not transferable.i understand this to be because the vehicle was off the road for a number of years.records deleted .then when re applied re registered in 1985.it has been re registered with its original no plate as i have the original buff logbook to confirm.what i dont understand is why the original number cannot be transferred if i wished to do so.help needed to clear this up please...

A bit harsh.dont make me laugh.it was nt all that long ago that a member of our armed forces.on the M54 on his way to an unexploded bomb.was caught speeding and prosecutef for it.even though he was on an emergency.it was nt that long ago that an ambulance driver was prosecuted for speeding whilst his blue lights were flashing on his way to an emergency.and it was nt that long ago that a police car on an emergency broadsided an innoccent motorist and wiped him out and walked away not even prosecuted.you get what im saying now...the police are a neccersay evil.respect has to be earnt..dont just come with the uniform......

Is it not gonna be odd seeing cars on the road without a tax disc after so many years i totally understand that there is no need for them now with this electronic thing .surprised its took this long.and as for the police .there equipment has got so advanced im sure it wont be long before they know what colour boxers your wearing before you even step out the door. long gone are the days when a piece of paper in the window stating TAX IN POST sufficed. not sure im impressed with all this modern day technology.....oh well.times move on i suppose
