there are two ways to do this one fit a vdo sender which you can have made to any hieght looks bit like a toliet roll we have to run them in ower tanks because we run twin baffles so the long arm lever type will not work you will need a calibrated vdo gauge as well the complete kit cost about £96 for the 12 gallon shape tanks we do. many people will not pay this that why i only weld them with sight gauges the next way is to place a sensor 1inch from the bottam of the tank and place a warning light on the dash which will give you 11/2 gallons to get home on the shape tanks we sell hope this helps alwyn
