It has so many cracking roads. We intend to be out for aproximately 3-4hours, maybe even more. and stopping off at a couple of pubs for a toilet break!! we have aproximately 12cars attending so far, all old fords are welcome! from the 1100L to the supercharged v8!! i can guarantee you will have a smile firmly placed on your face!! come see the country roads of Hertfordshire!! please post up, so we have an idea of numbers and dont go without anyone on the day!! cossy,rs1600i,rst xr's all belong in a different group to old skool fords, when ford changed there build policy that when the true old skool ford stop being produced. you say that cossy,rs1600i,rst xr's will become old skool as they age but mk1/2 escorts etc will get even older, i think this site is great and the fact that you only have old skool fords on here is better, there are so many other sites like Alcoholics Anonymous that are overtaken with cossy,rs1600i,rst xr's etc nice to be able to chat just old skool

been lookin around for duratec and there expensive lumps 2 buy, nearly fell over when lookin at the burton catalogue

bda cost silly money, st170 lump is a zetec but badged as a duratec i believe

looks very nice in that engine bay how come they went with the 32/36 weber and not stick with the oringal throttle body set up, the electrics will b the biggest head ake for me

got any pictures of ur zetec install perry, was it fairly easy to do, any trickly bits

weekend toy, goin on tours around europe/ireland etc, some tracks day but nothing to serious, dont want massive bhp race spec engine that drinks petrol and undriverable, i didnt look at a pinto because they do like to drink petrol and are heavy for the power they put out

what other engines are there that can b droped strighted in with out 2many serious mods

right ive got my mk2 body all welded up and ready for paint but b4 it goes i want 2 mock up the engine and gearbox, but i dont know what lump to use, i want n/a 16v engine with out spendin a bomb so not bda, n/a cossy or warrior, so am left with 2ltr zetec,xe or duratec,what do u guys think of these engines
